For Carrot Puttu
Carrot (finely grated)-2 medium
For white Puttu
- Take rice flour in 3 separate bowls.
- Mix rice flour with salt and shredded coconut. Pour some water and mix with fingers. The correct texture is when you grasp a palm full of flour and it seems to hold together but when gently touched, it looses shape.
- Add grated beetroot and salt into the flour.Pour some water and mix with fingers so that it look like bread crumbs.Keep aside.
- Continue the step above with carrot and rice flour.
